On Saturday, June 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Uji tea event “What a tea! will be held at Kyoto Prefecture Tea Association Center (next to Takumi-no-Yakata). This year’s drink will be a nostalgic “Hiyashiame”. There will also be high-grade green tea, a free hand-rubbed tea experience, hojicha (roasted green tea) making experience, a tea utensil flea market, Samurai Chajin tea sales, and more.
