Japanese Tea Workshop
Tea Course by Nihoncha(Japanese Tea) Instructor
We offer tea experiences for foreigners to feel Japanese culture. We will bring all the utensils such as tea and tea pots, tea cups. All you need to prepare at the venue is a table and chairs. The experience and training can be conducted in Japanese or English. Let’s enjoy tea with experienced Samurai Chajin to the fullest!

Types and History of Japanese Teas

Japanese tea tasting (5 types)
We brew 5 kinds of tea while performing.

Japanese Tea Brewing Course
Training on how to brew (make) one type of tea (gyokuro, sencha, or matcha)

Hojicha Making Experience
Making hojicha, which is made by roasting large pieces of sencha green tea and its stems.

Matcha Stone Milling Experience
We will make and drink green tea with the matcha we made.

Hand-rubbed tea making experience
Making sencha the old-fashioned way

Chakabuki
A game of guess the tea. A very popular experience!
