Uji tea event was held at Kyoto Prefecture Tea Association Center (next to Takumi no Yakata) on Saturday, 2024/3/2.
We have installed a sign so that it can be easily seen from the back street.
This time, we hung it on the wall.
The theme of this year’s event is “Ume(Japanese apricot)”. This is matcha green tea with shiso leaves floating on it. Sweets are famous confections from Tsukigase, Nara.
We made it more interesting by using samples to show the changes in each step of the process from leaf to dry in our hand-milling booth. It is fun to prepare various new things every month!
