On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a hojicha making experience will be held on the first floor of the Kyoto-fu Chagyo Kaikan (located next to the Takumi no Yakata) in Uji.
For 500 yen per person, you can make hojicha and finish it in two tea bags to enjoy at home, even if you do not have a teapot.
You can take home the tea you made or drink one on the spot (served in a to-go cup).
Although it is not mentioned on the flyer, isn’t this a great price for a cup of tea and a snack?
