Samurai Chajin Tea Experience Course
Making, Drinking and Learning about Uji Tea
The main focus of the cafe is tea experience. Reservations are required in advance, so please let us know your preferred date, time, number of people, and desired experience (if you have one in mind). If the Samurai Chajin’s schedule allows, you can experience tea from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

1. Uji Matcha Experience Course (about 2 hours) ￥5,500

-Matcha Chakabuki(guessing game),

2. Hand rolling tea experience (about 3 hours) ¥5,500
-Making Gyokuro by hand（The finished tea will weigh approximately 60g.）

Access
By public transportation
Please arrive at Kintetsu Shin-Hosono(B21) station(30 minutes from Kyoto(B01) Station by Kintetsu Railway) of JR Hosono station
It takes 15 minutes on foot from the west exit in the direction of Seika Town Hall.
We can pick you up at the station.
By car
Times Seika Garden City (550 yen for 24 hours) is the nearest parking lot. It is a 12-minute walk from the parking lot.
