In 2015, we started to create a Japanese tea show for the Tokyo Olympics.
In 2017, the “Samurai Chajin” Japanese tea show was born from the idea of having some kind of character that would be received by people from overseas at the opening reception of the “Kyoto Expo of Tea,” and in 2022, it finally took a form that made sense.
Until now, we have only performed at events where we were invited, but from 2023, we will be active in various places so that the general public can enjoy our show. The first Japanese tea show will be held in Uji on Sunday, April 9. Please come and join us.
Please pay the fee on the day of the show and make sure not to bring any change.
The next event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the same venue (Kyoto Prefectural Tea Industry Hall), and the “Uji New Tea and 88 Night Tea Picking Gathering” will be held on May 2 at the Uji Tea House across from Taiyogaoka, so please stop by there as well.
