I produce so-called pesticide-free tea, which I started because &#8220;pesticides cost a lot of money, so I don&#8217;t (or can&#8217;t) do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-02.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-02-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first year, we made sencha, gyokuro, and tencha and had a tea picking experience, and in the second year, we made gyokuro and black tea.<br>In the third year, we will make Tencha (the raw material for Matcha), and we will challenge ourselves to see what kind of tea we can make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-03.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-03-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The view of the new shoots is really beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-04.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-04-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, rain was forecasted on many of the mowing days, so we had to change the days and mow after the rain had stopped, which was quite difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5268\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-05.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-05-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This year was a challenge to see if we could produce good teas even with \u201cpesticide-free\u201d teas if we were creative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-06.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-06-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We also did our best to adjust the coverings to get gyokuro for the hand-rolling experience, which resulted in good raw tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-07.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-07.jpg 600w, https:\/\/samuraichajin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/i2505-07-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a refreshing and easy-to-drink gyokuro.
