On Saturday, September 16, 2023, we held a Uji tea event at Kyoto Prefectural Tea Industry Hall (next to Takumi no Yakata).
This time, as “Uji Tea Autumn Fun,” we brought as much as we could from our past events. We had green tea making, hojicha making, Japanese tea show, matcha chakabuki, and tea sales by Samurai Chajin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before we arrived and got ready, the guests arrived, and then the Takumi no Yakata staff arrived as well, so we were still in our pre-dresses. This time, we got off to a good start!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought I might make a lot of hojicha since it was still hot, but it turned out to be a surprisingly relaxing day with few people walking around. We had not been able to give any notice of the event, so it was also a surprise that none of our relatives or acquaintances came to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even among them, everyone who came enjoyed the event. I want to create some kind of space where all kinds of people want to gather. We are still learning.
