Uji tea event was held at Kyoto Prefecture Tea Association Center (next to Takumi no Yakata) on Saturday, 8/3/2024.
The content of the event is the same as the previous one, but we have added a hojicha (roasted green tea) experience corner to accommodate more people.
We have also categorized the teas from the Samurai Chajin’s tea farm to allow for comparative tasting. For example, we prepared two teas of the same variety, one uncovered (Roten-en) and the other covered (Oishita-en), so that the meaning of the cover can be more clearly understood. It was very hot that day and very few people were walking outside.
